Thanks Terry and EJ for your support and concern. I think things are going to be okay. He ate all his food today and after I changed his bedding in his tub this evening, he's been very energetic and responsive (e.g: he comes and sniffs at my hand if I put it in his tub). He's drinking a lot of water still and peeing a lot, but there's no sign of what might be renal probs (i.e: strong ammonia smells, etc.). His snout appears to be clear and dry too. Just keeping my fingers crossed...
By the way, if my little guy got sick, it wasn't due to the vet. He offered me the chance to reschedule due to his backlog that day but I passed in order to try and get the check up done. My vet is on the ARAV list and is a great guy. He did a very thorough check and said everything looked great and that my guy was clean. If I do this again, I think I'm gonna tuck a hot water bottle in his travel box so he doesn't run the risk of a chill.
Thanks again for your help.
