: : I just purchased a two and a quarter inch sulcata.

: : How can I keep her from getting bored or depressed?

: : I'm planning on keeping her inside until she gets

: : bigger, probably by springtime. I live in Austin, TX.

: : What do people think about single tortoises? Is there

: : another species that would make a good companion? Does

: : a tortoise need a companion?

: : So far I've been taking her out in the backyard on

: : "walks" until she gets tired.

: : Any suggestions would be appreciated.

: : Thanks,

: : Joe
