:Generally the 2:1 ratio is calcium to phosphorus-
the more phosphorus there is the less calcium is absorbed by the animal. The calcium/phosphorus ratio is more important for carnivores and insectivores because there is already alot of phosphorus in there food and supplimenting more defeats the purpose. So unless you hear something different I would reccomend a phosphorus free powder.
