How come my Sulcata's aren't growing? What am I doing wrong? I have the right temperatures, 85 during the day w/ 95-100 degree basking site, around 80 at night. I soak them every morning. I feed them mustard greens, spineless prickly pear cactus, water cress, grape leaves (when in season), small amounts of carrots, cucumbers, organic wheat grass, and T-Rex tortoise dry formula (100% vegetable product), and on occasion hibiscus leaves and flowers, and dandelion leaves and flowers. I lightly dust the food every other day with the Rep-Cal Calcium with D3 phosphorous free ultrafine powder and herpivite multivitamin and a 2:1 ratio. About once or twice a month I put vitashell on them. I have 2 and they are in a 4.5 x 2 foot enclosure. I have 2 18" Reptisun 5.0UVB lights. They get an average of 2.5 hours of real sunlight per day. They eat well, their feces look normal. The have a place to graze on real grass in their pen, they can burrow in a bunch of thin cloth strips that I cut out, they have a calcium tablet in their pen if they want to chew on it. They have grown a half inch in width and length each in the 10 months I have had them? Neither of them are older than 15 months I think. Thanks for all your help.
