I am just about finished with my first of a series of permenant outdoor tortoise pens. (summer pens- I had been using chain link cages that I moved around) I wanted to clarify just so people did not think that by permenant I would be leaving them outdoors year-round--I live in Missouri!! Back to the point this pen is 4"x4" post 2ft deep with 2"x4" slats horizontally spaced out with 2" inbetween them. The cage is four feet tall and built into the side of a builing with about 200-225 sq ft probably. I have some questions on what types of bushes to plant in with them. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am keeping four Sulcatas in the pen the largest being 13". I am starting other cages this week of larger sizes, but I wanted to get one done and get the guys outside for more than a couple hours first.thanks for any replies..
