Tell us about your experiments with humidity.
How many tortoises in each group (how many
tortoises in low humidity, how many in high).
How did you verify that they each recieved
an identical diet? Was it a low or high
protein diet? This will make sense
a couple questions later.
How did you measure pyramiding, and is it
a consistent measure?
What species of tortoise did you use?
Was it a species that thrives in low
humidity, and therefore eats more,
while those in high humidity suffered,
ate less, and therefore did not pyramid?
If you offered a high protein diet, and
the tortoises comfortable in low humidity
ate it while those uncomfortable in
high humidity didn't, then you couldn't
say it was humidity that caused the
pyramiding.
Not picking on you, just asking questions
because your controlled experiments on
these matters are very important, and
I want to hear the results.
