basically it's too much to get into all the types
of worms and their treatments. I have seen dewormer
for sale, but would not recommend the diagnose and
treatment be done without a veterinarian. There's
no sense treating blindly, you risk treating for
parasites not present and maybe missing ones that
are because many require different approaches.
Your vet should be able to identify the worms your
tort has, in the meantime prepare to "quarantine"
you pet. In other words you may be making more
substrate changes than you're used to until this
thing is cleared up. Watch yourself too as some
types of parasites are not harmless to people,
I wear rubber gloves when working with animals
during quarantine. You might consider switching
to newspaper as this is the easiest form of
substrate to use to monitor fecal changes and is
easy to clean up. niki
