:I have a russian tortoise in a very large indoor vivarium. He lives there with a small sulcata and 2 button quail. He seems quite content with his enviroment and his cage-mates.In the vivarium he has his perfect little hiding spot and he tends to spend alot of time there. He comes out to eat like a pig and he comes out off and on to bask under the heat light, the majority of his day is spent resting. I don't think this is too unusual- through out the day I can hear him digging in his hide spot- I think this is normal too.
