The alfalfa and Timothy are great for bedding.
If you can get it to eat the Timothy it is a great dietary staple. They also sell Orchard Grass which is supposed to be the greatest for them to eat - wonderful source of fiber. Several people I chat with use their hays -are much, much better than prepackaged stuff you buy at the pet store.
