Hi Michelle,
lettuce and cucumber is not a suitable diet for a sulcata. If they are housed indoors you must offer a more varied diet. Fiber is the single most important ingredient in a sulcatas diet. Please go to the care sheet I have linked below,for more info on housing and feeding sulcatas. You can also email Marissa who wrote this care sheet for more info, you will find an email link to her at her care sheet.Marissa also has a sulcata email discussion list called SulcataStuff you will find it at egroups.com, I really recommend you join up.
Please email Marissa for more advise, she has helped many new sulcata owners.She can automaticaly subscribe you to the discussion list too.
