I just received my new Hermann's tort yesterday..I soaked him drank and had a stool but he is not eating and he is staying on the warm side of his enclosure, not moving much, staying in his hide box..I suspect he is stressed from shipping and it's cooler here than where he came from..several questions..how long do I give him to acclimate and how long should I give him to start eating..I intend to take him in for an initial vet evaluation as soon as possible..He has a clamp light with temp's in the low 80's on the warm side..UVB light and cool side so he can thermo regulate..food is available and changed daily..dark leafy greens and a tad of fruit..he also has Rep-cal Tort food just in case he prefers that..Should I be worried? Should I change anything? Any food that might tempt him to eat?
