The first food I got my hingeback to eat was mango. Try some fruit especially mango, strawberries, bananas, etc. Mine also really likes slightly cooked yams/sweet potatoes and most types of squash. Giving her a nice long warm soak, sometimes helps. I soak my bell's until he poops and that usually perks up his appetite.

: I also am having some problems in that she refuses to eat. I bought her last week and she ate almost immediately some romaine lettuce. Since then she has eaten nothing. I've tried dog food, worms, endive, and escarole. Today I'm trying a tomato. I have a 75 watt red heat lamp going and a humidifier as well. I leave the food in 24 hours. Any suggestions on what to do? Is there a food she may find irresistible? Thanks for your help.
