Rhinoclemmys punctilaria, a fairly aquatic species native to northeastern South America, is regularly imported from Suriname and is sometimes called the S.A. Wood Turtle (official common name is Spot-legged Turtle, but nobody uses it). It is a medium sized turtle with an elongate dull black shell and varying amounts of orange striping on top of the head.
