I will cerently pass the info along to my vet, thanks. I have joined this list mostly because I am new to tortoise rescue, my longest tort(red-foot)I've had about 1 1/2 years. i usually do box turtles. I have seen an increasing number of tortoises lately being given up. I do not know much about leopards, but 3 have been "dumped" within the last 6 weeks. I am trying some different husbandry techniques with this new one based on info I've found on this list and member sites, as well as on tortoise trust. (their message board is hard to use!!) I am more familiar with red and yellow foots, so any info you can pass my way is terriffic!! We never stop learning...:)kelly
