I took care of them, my parents didn't. i took them to the vet when they were sick. saying that because someone is young is totaly wrong. I know more about tortoises than most of you. most of you on this forum take care of redfoots, russian, and sulcatas that are somewhat "beginner" tortoises... a kleinmanni is for the "experienced"... so saying something like "no he or she is too young for a tortoise is wrong. because you don't know if this person is mature and take care of responsibilities."
