You might want to set up and outdoor pen with a nice, deep burrow and lots of coverage, maybe in a partially shady spot. Or you can give him outdoor time first thing in the morning and in the early evening.
Funny how we have to adapt for some reptiles because it's too hot!
: After much research I have recently acquired a new little russian boy. One question, though... I did hear of people from the midwest having them, but now I am very worried. It is sooo humid here, and he is supposed to have dry environments. I don't see how i am going to be ablr to let him outside to frolic when it is so humid. Not to mention inside when it is not hot enough for the air. He kind of looks like he is breathing hard, and he slept in his hide box all evening, night, and is still there. Any advise would be appreciated.
