: check out www.tortoisetrust.org they have some great care sheets. also, post on this site and ask for help from chiro... he has 23 of them! get a book on tortoise keeping. i have several. i've heard a.c. highfields is great. i'm waiting for that one to come in the mail. read all you can and read the posts here. these people ahve a lot of good information. you're not the first one to impulse buy! tortoises are great! just read as much as possible and do the best you can for him. check out sulcatastation.com for some good ideas on enclosures or go to one of niki's posts and click onto her link to her website. she also has a good enclosure. welcome to the club! ps it's very addictive.. i live for my turtles! (okay, i like my kids too)
