You might want to join the Asian Turtle Crisis list at Yahoo groups. http://groups.yahoo.com/
There are lots of experienced Asian keepers there. Also, from what little I know about Asians, many are heavily parasitized. Some people put them on a course of Panacure, Flagyl, and Droncit (forget the spelling). Although it's best to get a fecal to the vet, if she's not eating and nothing is coming out, that will be a little difficult. A tortoise can have worms without you seeing them in the feces.

: Hi there,

: Is anyone working with wild caught Burmese Mt. Torts? Browns or Blacks? I acquired a 8" animal that just refuses to come out and eat and is VERY shy. She's got a hide box and everything..... Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

: Thanks
