It is very unlikely that a captive bred would have a tick. They were only found on wild caught ( correct me it I am wrong ) and even it it had a tick in a cold area like that it most likely would have died anyway. I have done some research on this since I have 2 sulcatas and a tick can only lie dormaint for 6 months then dies if it does not have a new host. I strongly recomend keeping your sulcata since there is a very low risk factor of him having it.
