I've used the mats that you can get at a plant nursery that are used to start garden seeds. The mat is supposed to keep its temp about 20 degrees above air temp. You can also use mats that are made for dogs to put in their doghouses. Some of these have regulators to adjust the temp. You should also have a heat lamp on to provide a basking spot. Good luck!
