Emily,
here is a link to Marissa's care sheet, please read it carefully .
Once again a 15 gallon tank is too small, there is no way you can provide a heat gradient in such a small enclosed area.
Glass tanks especially heat up very quickly,a much larger wood or plastic enclosure would be better. Wood best.
Tortoises need to be able to move between warmer and cooler areas at will .
If kept at a constant warm ( too hot) temperature they will overheat which leads to all kinds of problems including bladder stones, or death if it can't escape the heat.
Read the care sheet carefully, it will help you provide the correct care for your sulcata.
Also scroll down the forum and read all the sulcata posts, you can learn a lot that way also.
I know this sounds like a lecture, but it's not meant that way at all, we all had to start somewhere :o)
