Below is a link to the Tortoise Trust's FAQ page...I think #1 applies to you about the sulcata "poop".

Also, chopped hay and romaine lettuce is really not enough of a diet for them and alfalfa is very high in protein and shouldn't be fed as a staple. You should concentrate on mixing at least three of the following: chickory, collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, escarole, dandelion greens, watercress. Also visit www.turtlecafe.net for Opuntia Cactus and graze mix which is a proper diet for the sulcata.

Also, you mention "cage" and temperatures but then mention an aquarium setup? If you have an aquarium and not a pen setup, then you do not have an appropriate enclosure for your sulcata. Yes in a tank you should tape the sides so they can't see out...but a tank is not a recommended enclosure for a tortoise anyway. If you have a basking spot at 100F in a tank, you can be sure it's even hotter on the floor where the tortoise sits and probably is a very drying and hot environment for them anyway...it's not really recommended as adequate housing. If you really want to do things the right way (which you seem to) start planning to build a proper indoor sulcata pen. Email me if you want some suggestions and instructions. Niki also has some pics of hers on her site and Turtle Cafe has some too.
