: Hi! I need your help in deciding which tortoise would be best
: for me: a Cherryhead Redfoot, a Hermann's Tortoise, or a Spider
: Tortoise. I have researched the care of all these species, but
: can't decide which would be best for a beginner and if I should
: get a male, a female, or a pair. Please help me!
:
About the best Tort I ever owned was a Redfoot, based on heartiness, and personality..You will
grow so attached to it, you will never want to
be away from it. They only get about 12 to 14
inches ( I have seen some bigger ), but I'm telling you, if I don't add them to my collection
by the end of the summer, It will be very surprizing.
Ciao'
Giovanni
