What???!!! Do you know what you are saying???
There are 2 Subspecies: western (which stays smaller) Females app. 15-20cm Weight:app.600-1500g and Males app.12-16cm!Weight:app.250-700g
and the eastern (whioch grows bigger!) Females app. 22-30 cm Weight:app.800-2500g and males app. 15-21 cm! Weight:app.500-800g
Both subspecies normaly reach maturity at an age of: males: 6-9 Females: 8-12 years,(in captivity and under optimum care (i.e no pyramiding and a diet without animal proteins!)
If you need further infos about hermanns ask, keeping (and breeding) both subspecies since 1985.
