I have seen plenty of CB Leopards that have pyramidding even with a strictly herbivorous diet. It does have something to with their genes. I've also heard of overcrowding being a factor as well... but who can prove it huh? There's nothing you can do to correct the pyramiding that has already occurred, but you can promote smooth growth to continue by feeding the correcyt diet. I've seen leopards that have been saved from bad diets in their fourth or fifth year of life then grow smooth all the rest of their years. Once they are full grown, you really don't notice that bit of pyramidding in the center of the scutes.
