Mine aren't at all. Sometimes I think that it's
a shame that who ever the person was that pulled
them from the wild ever did. They both lived in a box for 15 years before I rescued them .They
seem to be very happy having a warm doggieloo good food to eat, a large area to roam and as little contact with me as possible..lol. I am
very happy to announce that the female is about
to lay eggs. Because of their "stand offish"
behavior, I try and leave them alone as much as possible so I don't stress them out. Good for
you on having a personable hingeback.
