FYI I'm told freezing does NOT kill all parasites

I was told by a sanitarian, who inspects restaurants etc. that freezing kills certain parasites but not others. Only cooking would kill them all. Whether or not it is of importance to your tegus or not I can't say, but I cook my meat, or microwave it enough to at least get it hot, just to be sure.
