If you could give us a little more information on your setup we could probably give you a lot more help. My first thought is that your temperatures probably aren't right. Tegus, especially young ones, are eating machines!
So let us know the basking spot temp., size of cage, normal feeding routine, what type of lighting you use (type of bulb, wattage, and if you use fluorescent lighting), any supplements that you use, and last bowl movement of the tegu. Then you should get some more responses!

:my little tegu tbhat i got on tuesday has not eaten since thursday or wednesday. is this bad? should i be concerned? and after i put in the cypress mulch i have seen less of him. will he come out and bask and eat on his own? or should i be worried about this? and how much should he be eating? so far since i have had him he has eaten about 6 crickets and a spoon full of montitor diet. also is it a bad thing to have crickets in his cage at all times? sorry for all of the questions.
