I've been bitten once by my colombian at two feet long. They do have a lot of teeth, but I think that a savannah monitor bite hurts more. Of course it could just be because his bite was a warning bite. Either way, it didn't really hurt, just mostly pressure.
:How much would it hurt to get bitten by my 1 foot long tegu. Ive been bitten by a savannah monitor a little bigger than the tegu and it didn't hurt at all, just left a little pin hole on the underside of my thumb. Ive heard tegus have a little harder of a bite though and more teeth also. Im trying to tame him and just wondering how careful i should be. he's just a little snot how much damage could he do? thanks, -Nick
