i'd probly just give him time to adjust. some take longer. hold off handling him if hes not eating yet. probly just adding more stress on him. and i would consider a vet visit.
:I just got a new 8 month old tegu on Tues. He is already tamer than my big guy. His basking temp. is 110 and ambient ranges 85-90. Humidity is around 70. He doesn't burrow in the cypress+spaghum peat moss at night and hasn't eaten anything yet. I'm assuming if he has already accepted my handling he should be ready to eat in his new environment. He also has a good humid hide spot. Doesn't show signs of mbd and has pooped once in the 2 days I've had him. He is drinking. Maybe I'm being impatient. I'm worried since I've never owned a Arg. B&W that doesn't burrow at night.
