:I gut load my rats with fruit . My chacoan does not eat fruit either , unless I sent red grapes with the smell of the rat on them . Just rub the roadent on the fruit. As for gut loading , Bend your fruit in a blender ,then use a strainer to leave any seedes out . Take a shishcabob and inpale the roadents stomach. Then take a small animal siring and inject the fruit in the roadent . This workes great . My tegu has not hade any shed problems since I have been doing this. I feed my tegu two gut loaded rats every 4 days . He gets insectes and grapes in between. My male chacoan is 18 mounths old, 49 1/8" long , snt to vent is 19 1/2" and he weighs 14 lbs. good luck Russ
