Hi to all of you

Last weekend i went to a meeting in a local group working with especially small geckoes.. and we had some discussion, with which I hope that you can be of some assistence.

In Denmark we from time to time get imports from especially Egypt with small ground-dwelling geckoes, which are sold as Stenodactylus petrii and Stenodactylus petrii var. helmet... but we are not so sure what species these are.

Some of them are pressumably petrii, and the other ones we have so far determined to be Crossobamon orientalis... but do any of you know of good references dealing with the systematics of these genera?... as I would be very interested in knowing these.

Look forward to hear from you, and appreciate any help in this matter.

P.S. The picture is the ones we think are to be called petrii

Regards

Jan Grathwohl
