I live in Southern California. Or, more specifically in Temecula. Behind our house used to be a field that was near a watershed and would fill up nicely when it rained. There were a lot of frogs, i.e. Western Spadefoots, treefrogs, and some other desert toads. Well needless to say one day a tractor came in so me and a friend went in and rescued many tadpoles which now are frogs and living underground in our backyard somewhere. I was so upset especially since this happened a year ago and they have yet to build.
Jeff
p.s. There were also many desert lizards and probably red racers and western diamondbacks.
