Hello, I am in the Dog River Watershed in the city limits of Mobile, AL. I have multitudes of wildlife right in my backyard. I especialy have turtles, all kinds Snappers (both), Red Ear, Soft Shell, Map, and the ocasional Box turtle and, I was wondering since I always end up finding a good home for the curious creatures. What are their feeding requirements. I do this because the nieghborhood lawn mowers have been pretty nasty to my Box turtle friends. Any help would be great. Normaly I send them on their way with lettuce, tomatos and grapes. I tell
the new owners to provide a bath place for them when it gets hot but I was never sure I was prescribing the adequate diet? I won my school science fair, blue ribbon, top spot doing herpatology. So I really care for my shelled friends and would appreciate the feedback.
