::What do you expect? Why in the heck would you keep all those different species together? Thats just plain irresponsible and it showed with your story. Also, why are you feeding them chickens? Whats wrong with appropriately sized rodents? Sounds like Miami needs to re-evaluate their herp care.

:As I mentioned in my post(I think?), this was a long time ago...back in the mid 1960's. We thought that live food was most appropriate then as well as large food for large snakes. Obviously an awful lot has changed since then. Husbandry has improved a 1000%. And back then captive breeding programs were nonexistant as opposed to now! Everything is completely different. I do welcome your comments and critisisms but I'm just trying to add something interesting to this site besides complaining about what some pet shop is doing somewhere. But fire away, I can handle it! Doesn't anyone else have a story to post?
