:Don't take it for granted Steve. I live in Alberta, but I come out to Ontario every year in the summer to herp and visit family. I have herped the Carribean, Okanagan, and many other places, but Ontario is still my favourite. If I could live in Ontario, that would be a dream come true. This may sound crazy, but in my opinion smooth greens beat scarlet kings and northern redbelly's beat cottonmouths. You could say I have herped Florida, because on a trip in November I had a three hour layover in Miami. I walked outside, found a grassy spot near the airport service road, and instantly found a brown anole, which was actually my second lizard ever. Florida is a great spot for it's diversity, but Ontario has the best northern herping by far. By the way, what part of Ontario are you located in?
