:kickenken-- I have a guess on the ID. My guess would be Dogania subplana. This species has a pink plastron as a hatchling. It could also be a Chinese Softshell (which is very common in the pet and the meat trade in some countries) but these get quite a bit bigger than the size of a human hand. Dogania stay pretty small. Do a "google" search on the internet
under the latin name and you'll find tons of info. --Maxx

Maxx -- I thought the Chinese softies don't get much bigger than 14 inches or so.
