Soft Shells

Hey, I'm not an owner of a soft shelled turtle, but I have a few questions.

I live in Canada , I've never seen one in the pet stores though. Can you buy them in Canada.

Where I live there endangered, and quite neat to see when you do!

How much do they sell for?
How large do they get?
What do they eat?
Is it only certain species they sell? What are the species they sell?
