breeding corns

ok...I put 2 female corns together in the same cage cause the space was needed and they start jerking around and so I decided to throw in the male...now after all that jerking around, they are roaming around the cage...were the females just being territorial and I read it as fertile?? should I leve the male in there for awhile and see what happens or should I take him out?? HELP>>>I AM NOT READY...I am a wannabe breeder
