:Hiya Snapper Heads-

:For those of you who haven't visited this site before, its a really informative place to read about North Americas largest freshwater turtle.

:It doesn't deal with the raising and caring for these beasts but looks at them from a more scientific point of view. Kinda like an addition to Mr. Peter Pritchard's Ali'snap book.

:Check it out.

:The site is: "www.uga.edu/srelherp/projects/PDFs/BobReedAlligatorSnapper-02.pdf"

Very interesting Gam,the chapter on taxonomy, distribution and systematics (three different genetic lines: mississippi drainage, drainages east of mississippi, and swanee river drainages have three different genetic makeups and they can tell which drainage a turtle comes from by looking at it?)
