Cool looking snapper. I also think its a common snapper and not an alligator snapper. The head/ shell ratio is more like a common. Does he have a very long neck that extends as he strikes at prey/ food? Its fun to watch commons feed. They're so much more pro-active than alligator snappers.

:Here is my ally snapper eating a cricket I popped into his rubbermaid tub. I have some pictures of his setup but they are to large to post. I have him in a huge rubbermaid tube with a heater, filter, full spec light and basking spot. I mostly feed him fish bait but if you have any info on someting better then pleas tell me.
