I am very lucky to live were i do because there is a reptile show/swap twice a month year round were i live.For years i wanted an alligator snapper and i finally decided to look into it so i went to the show.Well i marched right up to the "Turtle Guy" and asked how much for an alligator snapper?He told me they are illegal in Illinois:( This upset me so i bought a Nile monitor :)(i love him to death)
I want to know:
1.Is it true that they are illegal in IL
2.if so is there a way to get around this law?
3.Can someone give me some basic care info on them id rather hear it from people on here then in some book.
