:any idea as to where I may find decent building plans for an enclosure for an adult snapping turtle? I would like to have the majority of it wood, but a glass or acrylic window....size would be approximately 300 gallons or so. Any links or info would be great. Thanks -Phew
I'm in the process of doing the same thing for smaller snappers.Talked to a guy at an aquarium shop today. Told him I was looking for a llong shallow tank. He said you can make your own out of plywood, coat it with fibreglass resin( just the resin, not the cloth) then paint with a two part epoxy paint
Silicone in the front glass after thats finished.

I'm going to give it a try.
I also found bits and pieces by staying up late and searching aquarium sites.
