Hi i got two CST and one "the biggest one" is 9 inches and he never bits but maybe once in a blue moon when i get him out and to many people are around and ijust put him back to cut out the stress. but my other CST she is about 5inches her name is Little Bit and we are thinking about changing here name to Little @^#&*. I think i have see tammer wild turtles she will snapp at the glass when there is now way she can hungry i really dont know what her problem is. I still try to hold her but i only do it for a few min. every other day its just to dangerous to hold her. she is getting so big that she can jump about 3 inches off the ground too bite you. she is crazy some times. I hope she tames up a little. hope this help and may be i can get help.

Eric

P.S. dont where open toe shoes when snapping turtles are on the ground.
