:i have a 6incher that never tries to bite. though, i wouldnt trust any snapper completly, they do have their moody side. id say that it will probably remain calm and shouldnt try to bite in an extremly defensive manner, though if its suprised or in a cranky mood(AKA hungry) you can bet your left index finger he/she will snap.
