My snapper eats everytihng from apples to squash. Firstly, throw some chunks in while feeding the normal diet. For example, while feeding pellets, i'll throw in a few apple chunks and he just eats them up as soon as they hit the water. Also try experimenting with different size pieces, my turtle prefers smaller chunks instead of whole halves like some people do.
