Thank you so much for all the information. I know I have a while to plan for his hibernation but I just want to be ready when it's time. One more question I have is whats the best way to make sure the tank doesn't freeze to the bottum and best way to keep a whole in the ice? Oh, and do you think I should take the heater out of the tank he's in now in the house so he will get used to a slightly cooler temperature for when he's moved outside? Thanks again!
