Phew-- A wood tank is a great idea for a simple setup. You can actually use pond liner but ONLY if you don't have anything near the edge where the snapper can get leverage to rip on it. Otherwise, he won't have enough leverage to tear it. There are also several thicknesses of pond liner. I prefer marine epoxy. You can apply it to the wood or paint it first and then epoxy over it. I've also been experiementing with a new material, something they have at Home Depot. I'll have to check on the name but it's sold in the paneling isle, and it's smooth white plastic on one side and bumpy white fiberglass on the other side, the side that shows. This stuff is waterproof! So...just a few ideas for you. --Maxx
