was the biggest common snapper on record. That's the one Bill is referring to. He was displayed at the Minnesota State Fair in the late 80's before being tagged and released. The largest alligator snapper currently on display is at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chatanooga, Tn. It weighs in at around 250 lbs.
