All monitors are a minimum of appendix two, a few are appendix one.
You would need to obtain a CITES appendix two export permit for ackies
and that could be diffiucult because they are Australian..
Last I heard, very few export permits were being granted for Australian
monitors and Boids and I believe this has to due with Lacey act, and the problem
tracing legal origin of Australian herpetofauna, since they don't export.
If you were granted a permit, you would also need your US F&W import'export license.
It costs $50 per year but you must apply for it. Also an inspeciton would be require
at the designated port of export...That will cost you 55 for non CITES and 95 for CITES
